Vets to Vets United 5K9 Dog Jog

It's a fun way to support local disabled Veterans & their service dog in training!
Join us on the Cross-Country Course at WakeMed Soccer Park, Cary, NC to run, jog, walk, or cheer – with or without your furry friend. The course combines an open field and a natural trail that will be fun for runners of all ages and skill levels!
Vets to Vets United, Inc. is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization made up of local veterinarians and volunteers. Our mission is to help Veterans suffering from physical and/or emotional disabilities including potential for suicide by matching them with rescued shelter dogs to be trained for service. All proceeds from the 5K9 Dog Jog will help cover the $25,000 program costs so our wounded warriors can focus on the healing power of the animal/human bond. Your participation in this event will help us to improve lives, save lives, one Veteran and one dog at a time!
Check-in
Race Day check-in or registration is at 9:00 am. The opening ceremony begins at 10:00 am.

product vendors, veteran organizations, snacks, water, raffle prizes, and a DJ! Feel free to
invite your fans and friends to join, cheer you on, and participate in the celebrations.
Support Your Race by Fundraising
Have your friends and loved ones donate to you toward your race
results. Enter your fundraising efforts on your personal race web page.
Awards
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for men and women will be awarded after their races.
A participation award for the oldest and the youngest aged racer to finish the race will also be provided.
Race Event Registration Prices (All Ages)
Early registration through August 31, 2024 -$40
Registration Sept 1 - Oct 6 - $50
*Registration includes a t-shirt. bottled water, and snacks.
Just 4 Fun Race Event Registration
Support another participant and receive a Race Event T-shirt for $15.
Remote Virtual 5K Race Registration
Register for the Virtual 5K Race by Oct 1st for $30.
Complete your race at your convenience. Your race T-shirt will then be mailed to you.
Volunteer as a Day of Event Support Team Member
Click "Register" and select Volunteer. Various roles are open for individuals aged 16 and
above, with shifts available from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM on October 6, 2024.

Your Race Results
The finish time of your race will be provided at the finish line, at the race
results kiosks, on our It's Your Race website at the bottom of the
home page under Results, or on the Virtual Race Mobile App.
